The second Annual Conference of Independent Public Appointments Assessors was held in central London

The second Annual Conference of Independent Public Appointments Assessors was held in central London on 7 October 2009.  In the unavoidable absence of the keynote speaker, Sir Gus O'Donnell KCB, Cabinet Secretary and Head of the Home Civil Service, the Commissioner for Public Appointments,  Janet Gaymer, delivered Sir Gus O'Donnell's address on his behalf.

Other speakers included representatives from various organisations involved in public appointments processes.

An interactive session was facilitated by Interact, a company specialising in the use of theatre skills for business training.
